Crime Alert - Burglary

Dear Resident's

Humberside Police are investigating a report of a burglary on JAMES RECKITT AVENUE, HU8 8LJ.

The incident occurred between 18:40hrs-23:26hrs on 22/12/2025. The Male suspect approaches victim's semi detached property, proceeds to try the handles of victim's UPVC French doors and rear door, before entering the rear garden, and making further attempts to open victim's garden shed. Suspect then exits the garden, jumping over the fence, and making off. Suspect does not cause any damage, or gain entry. 

If you have any CCTV footage (including video doorbell), saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area around this time or have any information about the offenders please contact the police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting occurrence ref:  25*177309.

To assist us in identifying stolen property please consider property marking high value items using Forensic Marking or UV pens.  You are also advised to register property at www.immobilise.com which is a free on-line property register used by police forces nationwide to reunite stolen goods to their owners. All you have to do is register on-line and then upload properties electrical items serial numbers.

If you have a burglar alarm ensure it is set and working.
